Zdeněk Zeman: “Totti was the best player I ever coached. I believe in Gabbiadini”
He's far away from the pitch, but not from football. Zdenek Zeman was a guest at Miglianico Golf & Country Club this morning for the presentation of the 3rd edition of the Pro Am Abruzzo Open. Interviewed by Sky Sport, Zeman commented about his personal situation and the current state of the Serie A: “I hope that the Serie A will be more balanced. At the moment, Napoli have lost something with Higuain, but as a team they remain one of the top competitors," the coach began.
After the injury to Milik, Sarri's team lost a vital piece. But Zeman trusts in Gabbiadini: “I always believed in him, he's an important player who hasn't been at his best yet, but now he has a good opportunity to play in peace and show them what he can do."
Finally, a confession: “The best player I ever had was Totti, and I'm happy that we have a good relationship. I always follow football, especially my son (in the photo with him) who is busy as a coach. I always have the desire to be in football, but it's not up to me to choose where and at what conditions I will go to a club."
