Watford, Pereyra: "I am happy here, we are in great shape. Chelsea interest in me? I don't know, but it's good when a big club likes you"

With his great start to the season with Watford, Argentinian midfielder Roberto 'Tucu' Pereyra gained a call-up for his national team from coach Scaloni and he couldn't be happier about it, as he revealed to Sky Sport: "We got off to a great start [with Watford] and I'm happy of my performances. Now we have to took advantage of this good moment and keep working", said Pereyra, who already scored five goals this season. "Returning to the national team was a goal of mine, next one is to stay in the squad through good performances with the club".

In the Albiceleste shirt, El Tucu will rejoin with his former teammate at River Erik Lamela, also called-up by Scaloni: "It will be great to play with him again, we are friends. Sharing moments on the pitch is special". As special are his memories of his time at Juve: "I saw Juve-Manchester, too bad for the result. However the bianconeri are on great form and with Cristiano they have even more quality. They will definitely have a successful season". In the summer he could have returned to Italy, as Torino was interested in bringing him back: "There were talks, but then I decided to stay at Watford. It was a good decision after all, now I am playing well and I hope to keep it going. Chelsea interested in me? I don't know much about it, but I'm glad that a big club likes me".

Finally, Pereyra discussed also the Libertadores final, with Boca and River battling each other for the first time in the final of the competition: "I, as a River supporter and ex-player, can't wait for the game. Playing a Superclasico is an incredible feeling, this game will be different from all the other Superclasicos".
