Verratti at risk of missing Euros, the latest on his injury

Bad news has arrived for PSG and Italy midfielder Marco Verratti, who suffered a knee injury in training several days ago. After initial suspicions were of a less serious injury, tests done on Tuesday revealed a graver diagnosis. His participation in Roberto Mancini's Italy team at the Euros is at risk.

Tests show that Verratti has a partially torn ACL in his right knee.

His expected recovery time according to PSG is between four and six weeks.
