Verona set to bring back Ilic from Manchester City

Verona are determined to bring back Ivan Ilic after his previous loan expired. The midfielder born in '01 had returned to Manchester City, but the gialloblu have rekindled the talks to bring him back.

 Verona are considering making a substantial investment to reacquire Ilic after he appeared in 29 Serie A matches scoring 2 goals last season. 

 Manchester City has acquired Ilic from Red Star Belgrad in the summer of 2017, but he remained on loan at his original club until 2019.
