Venezia, Romero arrives in town to finalize deal

Venezia continue their pursuit of Sergio Romero. The deal was close to being completed in the last few hours and now the final details are being addressed.

 The former Manchester United keeper arrived in Mestre to go over the details of the contest. He has been offered a multi year deal with an annual salary of around €1 million after taxes. Romero would prefer to sign a deal until end of season, to then evaluate his options.
