Venezia close to signing Nani: the latest

Venezia is close to a move for Luis Nani. There will need to be offiical confirmation, but the may. have already been transported quietly to Venice to undergo his medicals and sign his contract.

The ex-Manchester United winger has already played in Serie A with Lazio, scoring 3 goals in 18 matches. 

Since 2019 he has been at Orlando City in MLS, becoming a free agent this January 1. His tenure including as club captain counted 71 matches, with 31 goals.

Nani was also offered to Bologna and Genoa, but talks never proceeded. Venezia instead are ready to make a surprise signing.

There is certainty that the club is in contact to find the economic terms with the Portuguese. An official transfer is not yet done, however.
