Valencia, Prandelli does not entertain a possible resignation as he focuses on the transfer market: Zaza and Rojo are targets

The mood is tense at Valencia. They currently sit in seventeenth place as Cesare Prandelli’s project is facing many difficulties. The Italian coach met with Peter Lim, the majority shareholder of the club, in recent days. Talks of a likely resignation were shelved for the moment as discussions regarding the transfer market took place. Prandelli asked for a striker as he sees Simone Zaza as the perfect attacker for his Valencia. It is still necessary to understand how much Zaza would make as he currently earns a lot. Zaza’s salary is a little more than 3 million euros, and if he arrives with such a salary, it could cause problems in the dressing room (the top earner for Valencia makes 1.8 million euros). But it also must be understood whether or not Juventus is willing to accept a loan with option to buy from Valencia, given that the player went to West Ham with an obligation to buy when he achieved his fourteenth appearance. It is an evaluation which the Juventus hierarchy must make seeing as Zaza is no longer finding space in England. And then there was the request for Marcus Rojo. Acquiring the Manchester United defender would be a difficult task given the price of the deal as well as the fact that Mourinho has been putting more faith in the player in recent times.
