Tottenham pursuing Atalanta's Romero: the latest on negotiations

Tottenham is looking again at Atalanta's shop window at a player for their team after Gollini.

After the goalkeeper landed in London to complete his move for Spurs, the Premier League club are now pushing for center back Cristian Romero.

Tottenham have accelerated to try to close the deal: the fee that could seal the move for the Argentine international is between €40-45 million fixed portion plus €10 million add-ons.

There is the basis of an agreement between Tottenham and Romero, a 5-year contract plus option for another season.

The deal is not yet fully completed because of the several details to iron out, but none are significant barriers to reaching the agreement.
