Tottenham offer deal to Chelsea's Giroud: the latest

Inter have already made a number of additions in the transfer window for January, announcing their latest signing Christian Eriksen on Tuesday. Next, the nerazzurri were set to land a striker, either Olivier Giroud from Chelsea, or Napoli's Fernando Llorente. But the nerazzurri instead on Tuesday asked Giroud, whose intermedieries were awaiting the call from Inter to take a flight to Milano, to wait until June to complete a move. But in the last few minutes Tottenham has proposed an 18-month contract to the Frenchman.

Tottenham continue to push in what has been a busy session, after closing a deal for Bergwijn as Eriksen's substitute, they are now looking at purchasing Giroud as well.
