Torino, Sirigu sets club record with 557 minute streak without conceding a goal

For the sixth Serie A match in a row, Torino didn’t concede a goal. Today’s game against Chievo also allowed keeper Salvatore Sirigu to set a new club record with a 557 minute unbeaten streak, the former Palermo keeper surpassed Luciano Castellini who had set the previous Granata’s record during the 1976/77 season with 517 minutes.

The last player to score against Torino this season was Stephan El Shaarawy back on January 19th. Sirigu had also set Paris St Germain’s record without conceding a goal with 949 minutes
