Torino interested in Benfica's midfielder Gedson Fernandes

After appointing Davide Nicola as their new coach, Torino are looking to reinforce their squad.

The Granata are searching a replacement for Meité, who joined Milan, and have opened discussions with Benfica's Gedson Fernandes, currently on loan to Benfica. Torino are considering getting the 21-year-old on loan, replaceing the deal currently in place between the Portuguese club and Spurs, where the player has struggled to get minutes under José Mourinho.

Another target for the midfield is Genoa's Lerager, who already worked with Nicola at Genoa, however the club will postpone every decision regarding the transfers until after the game against Benevento.
