Torino, Barreca nearing Monaco move: Meite also included in negotiations

Torino is active on the transfer market: both in signings and outgoing players. Antonio Barreca is nearing a move to AS Monaco. In fact, he is not present at Filadelfia where they are undergoing the first part of their pre-season training prior to leaving for Bormio.

Included in the deal for Barreca is Soualiho Meite. Meite is also of interest to Genoa, but it seems at the moment Torino have the advantage as they are tying the player to the deal for Barreca. The parties are working on permanent transfers for both players.

As far as possible signings, Charlie Rowan is training with the squad today on a trial basis. The ex-Watford defender will also go to Bormio on retreat with the squad, where he will be evaluated by Mazzari.
