Strootman undergoes Cagliari medical ahead of transfer from Olympique Marseille

 After spending the second half of last season on loan to Genoa, Kevin Strootman will continue his career in Serie A.

 The Dutch midfielder, born in 1990, is in fact set to join Cagliari on loan from Olympique Marseille .

  A very important acquisition for Cagliari, which bolster their midfield with an experienced player that was already a target last January, before joining Genoa. The former Roma midfielder is currently undergoing the medical tests before officially becoming a new Cagliari player.
