SPAL evaluating Semplici's future as De Biasi emerges as potential candidate for the job

After the defeat at home against Brescia, SPAL were surpassed by 'Le Rondinelle' and now sit in last place with 9 points in 15 games. Given the circumstances, the club has decided to conduct a general evaluation of the situation that involves also the position of current coach Leonardo Semplici.

SPAL are in fact pondering a possible managerial change and one of the options currently being evaluated is former Albania coach Gianni De Biasi. The club had already held contacts with De Biasi two years ago, when the current coach's time at SPAL seemed to be over before the team went on an impressive run to avoid relegation, salvaging Semplici's job at the time.
