Southampton set to make bid for Chelsea loanee Broja

 

Talks have taken place between both clubs this month, as the Saints look to ward off any interest in the striker in the summer. 

 

 

 

 

If Chelsea were to accept this proposal, Southampton would have to agree to a buy-back clause inserted in the deal, but negotiations haven't got to the stage yet on how much the buy-back would be. The Blues aren't in a rush. 

 

West Ham have also shown an interest in the Albanian striker in recent days. 

 

Broja still holds the dream of playing on a regular basis for Chelsea, but knows this isn't guaranteed and would rather be a starter now. He is open to extending his stay at Southampton.
