Southampton sees Napoli increase fee for Gabbiadini, no agreement yet between clubs

Gabbiadini-Southampton negotiations are continuing. The offer, which is not yet agreed to by Napoli, is for €16m+€4m bonus and 10% of future sales. In order to convince Napoli to sell, an increase in the fixed amount, from €16m to €18m, could do the trick. Southampton's deal with Gabbiadini, €2.5m per season on a contract expiring 2021. Gabbiadini's current contract is set to expire in 2018 and Napoli is also considering the renewal of his deal. Another option is that they loan him for a year and a half. Gabbiadini for his part is not pleased with either situation, he does not want to go on loan and isn't ready to extend either. Napoli is awaiting the latest offer from Southampton.
