Simone Zaza:"Leaving West Ham as a loser bothers me, I struggled to adapt"

The past seven months have been a struggle for Simone Zaza between the missed penalty against Germany at the Euro and his struggles at West Ham. The striker talked about his experience with the Hammers in an interview to Gazzetta dello Sport:"Once I figured out that I had to leave Juventus I decided to have an experienced abroad. West Ham was one of the teams that wanted me. But quicily I struggled under many aspects: cultural, climate, training methods and nutrition. I'm not being a victim, I know full well I'm a professional footballer and I get paid very well. I'm just trying to explain the reasons for my failure. I don't blame anyone, it's 99% my fault that I didn't adapt. Leaving there in a sense as a loser bothers me. I'll keep thinking about that story that didn't go as I hoped"
