Sassuolo set to sign Benevento winger Brignola

New Sassuolo coach De Zerbi could soon be rejoined with one of most interesting young players of the past season. The Neroverdi are in fact set to close a deal for Benevento's winger Enrico Brignola, who made his debut in Serie A with De Zerbi.

Sassuolo and Benevento have a meeting scheduled in the next few hours, during which they will put on paper the verbal agreement they already reached a few days ago. After that, the winger, born in 1997, will start his new adventure in Serie A with Sassuolo, despite a last minute attempt to hijack the deal from several clubs, including Udinese.
