Sassuolo, De Zerbi set to replace Iachini: the latest

Despite Benevento’s relegation, Roberto De Zerbi made a name for himself last season in Serie A because of his team’s tenacity and offensive approach. Now the former Foggia and Palermo manager will get an opportunity at Sassuolo, a club who had previously pursued him.

Sassuolo have announced they rescinded Beppe Iachini’s contract, opening up the door for De Zerbi to arrive on an expected two year deal.
