Sampdoria pursue Atalanta defender Masiello

Following Jeison Murillo's transfer to Celta Vigo, Sampdoria are determined to add a center back for Ranieri's squad. With the difficulties in negotiation with Napoli to bring Lorenzo Tonelli back to Genova, now Sampdoria have contacted Atalanta about Andrea Masiello.

The defender born in '86 has appeared in seven Serie A matches this season as well as four in the Champions League, he could find a new home at Sampdoria.
