Sampdoria-Jankto, deal progressing: the updates

A meeting between Sampdoria and Udinese midfielder Jakub Jankto has just taken place in Milan, the discussions centering around the project and goals of the club. The clubs are already in agreement on a €15m deal in principle, however there remains the obstacle of the interest from Valencia for the midfielder. The Spanish club could submit an offer on Tuesday, but there is confidence from Sampdoria that they can close the deal within the next 48 hours.
