Negotiations between Sampdoria and Cagliari for Sau are getting more complicated as the Sardinian side still has to give their final go ahead. Should the deal not happen, it wouldn't impact Kownacki's transfer to Fortuna Dusseldorf as Ferrero's club has agreed to let the Polish player go to Bundesliga.
