Salernitana make first contacts with Eder for a return to Italy

Salernitana has begun initial contacts with Eder to try to bring the Italo-Brazilian striker back to Italy. The club's new owner and Walter Sabatini want to bring in reinforcements to try to save the team from relegation, who today also received a penalty for not being present in Udine for the match on 21 December 2021 due to restrictions from the local health ministry.

The ties between Eder and Sabatini are strong and it could aid negotiations. Not to be discounted in the equation is the will of the player to make a move to Italy.

Eder plays currently at Sao Paolo in Brazil after his stint in China with Jiangsu Suning. If the club are open to moving him there could be the right conditions to bring Eder to Salernitana.
