Rudiger will miss Euro after likely tearing his anterior cruciate ligament

The German national team and Roma suffered a tough blow today. Defender Antonio Rudiger suffered an injury during a 9 on 9 training match, after a collision with Muller, Rudiger fell to the ground holding his right knee. Germany's medical staff immediately rushed to the pitch to assist him and helped him off the field. Tomorrow there will be further test but Germany's team doctor has made an initial diagnosis: Rudiger suffered a tear of his right anterior cruciate ligament. This would cause Rudiger to miss the Euro and change Roma's plans: the defender could have been sold in the summer transfer window and now will likely stay at Roma, who will still need another center back.
