Roma, two candidates for the coaching job, a decision is expected early in the week: the latest

Sinisa Mihajlovic is out of the running for the Roma job, two two candidates that remain in line to take over as coach are Roberto De Zerbi and Paulo Fonseca. By Tuesday, Roma should be ready to make their final decision.

the Italian is the favorite for the job, given the lack of a need to adapt himself. His playstyle and his strong personality are both seen as positives by Roma.

Fonseca is behind De Zerbi but is attractive thanks to his international experience in Ukraine and Portugal, and his nine trophies won with Shakhtar and Porto. His style is seen as a new voice, similar to when Rudi Garcia first took charge of the club.

Mihajlovic is out of the running, his strong Lazio ties possibly too much of a burden. He is expected to be contacted by Bologna's directors to continue to be a part of the club's evolving project.

Roma will continue to be in contact with the two coaches, looking to make a decision by the beginning of the week, allowing the club to begin planning for the season ahead with the beginning of a new era.
