Roma today hold first official meeting for Laxalt: the situation

Diego Laxalt has been a stalwart in the Genoa lineup this season, but the club might not be able to count on the player much longer. This morning, Roma began officially their pursuit of the '93 born midfielder, in a deal that looks more likely to occur in June: there is only a narrow chance that a deal for Laxalt gets done in January. Roma expects, for a player tied to such a heavy investment, that he would join them immediately, so the club could opt for a move in the summer. While the possibility for Laxalt to head to Rome remains open, there is still the current market to decide his future.
