Roma to meet with Chelsea for Tammy Abraham: the latest

Thursday will be a decisive day for the Tammy Abraham negotiations, as the Chelsea player is currently a priority for Roma. Tiago Pinto flew to London even though it wasn't possible to proceed with negotiations, as the player played the UEFA SuperCup against Villareal. Instead, Pinto will meet with Chelsea and the player's agent to try and close a deal. If unsuccessful, the Giallorossi will look at other options.

There has been no official contact for Arsenal's Lacazette. Instead, the more concrete alternatives are Hertha Berlin's Matheus Cunha and Flamengo's Rodrigo Muniz (who is closer to Middlesbrough).

In the meantime, Pinto is working on the outgoing market. Roma would like to monetize some of their players. The only way that the Giallorossi would accept Florenzi leaving is on loan with obligation to buy under certain conditions or a permanent transfer. Carles Perez could also be leaving, as Newcastle is interested in the player.
