Roma, Tiago Pinto:”Mourinho is aware we can’t build an instant team”

Roma general manager Tiago Pinto gave an assessment of his team so far this season during a recent interview with Sky Sport.

 The Portuguese director describe the project he's trying to oversee in Italy's capital:"When we started this project, we knew needed time since ownership inherited a tough financial situation. We can't build an instant team like other clubs do. Mourinho is aware of this and he's aligned with us. If he wants to develop a player like Felix, it means he's aligned with this project, this is also true for Darboe and Calafiori"

 Pinto went on:"The coach's will is to build together with us. When we say we need time and sustainable football, we aren't saying we don't want to win, but just that we want to do it in this fashion, we don't want to build an instant team, we want to improve during every transfer window"
