Roma, there's optimism closing a deal for Nastasic soon

Roma is in hot pursuit of a defender for the team, Schalke 04's Matija Nastasic is the target for the giallorossi. The Serbian defender is confirmed by Monchi to be among the sporting director's objectives and Roma is hoping to close as soon as Tuesday. Contacts remain ongoing as Roma seeks to lower the asking price from Schalke, who originally were asking €20m. The sides are working out bonus payments but there is belief and optimism to strike a deal.
