Roma, talks with Zaniolo regarding contract renewal postponed until after the season

Nicolo Zaniolo is definitely a huge part of Roma's future plans. The club have opened discussions regarding a contract renewal for the young Italian, however, all side have now agreed that talks will wait until after the season in June. The motive? Bureaucratic reasons such as prolonging the contract for the maximum period allowed until June 2024, with the existing contract already set to expire in June of 2023.

The intention of both parties is for the youngster to remain concentrated and motivated on the field and focused on the objectives that are needed to be reached, and also to continue to demonstrate in his performances that he deserves higher wages than the current salary he is being paid.
