​Roma, Strootman appeal has been accepted: two match ban revoked

Luciano Spalletti now has a reason to smile, as with both Milan and Juventus Kevin Strootman will be at his disposal. The Dutch midfielder had initially received a two match ban after his simulation that caused Danilo Cataldi to receive a red card. As reported by Sky Sport, Roma promptly went through an appeal, which was accepted moments ago. Roma can thus breathe a sigh of relief: Strootman’s ban has been revoked, allowing the midfielder to play both upcoming matches with Milan and Juventus.
