Roma, Spalletti: "For Nainggolan big games are the ultimate pleasure in life."
After defeating Inter 3-1, Spalletti spoke to Sky Sport: "It was a great game between two teams that were trying to achieve victory. During some segments of the game we played better, and we deserved to take the lead as well as score the second goal. We would have defeated them more soundly if we kept possession better in certain circumstances."
On Nainggolan: "Nainggolan is the following type of person: big games are the ultimate pleasure in his life. He has an unusually high amount of quality, and can improve even further if he has more consistency."
On Fazio: "My staff and I have been following Fazio since he was at Zenit, and when he went to England, we were about purchase to him. The only doubt was why he had not recieved substantial playing time. He is friends with Perotti who told us that his lack of playing time was a consequence of his past coaches' decisions. He is a player with great quality, and could play as a midfielder."
On how to approach a game: "Many teams play great football. At times we cannot manage to pass the ball in the midfield as well as we did last year. Also, sometimes we play at too fast a pace; so, I had to adapt because we too often give the ball away to our opponents. Strootman has different characteristic than Pjanic and Keita."
