Roma, Ranieri:”We miss Dzeko’s goals but he always gives his best”
Roma will look to continue their positive streak following the win against Sampdoria when they face Udinese on Saturday. The giallorossi’s manager Claudio Ranieri was asked about his next opponents during the pre match interview:”Udinese are the opponent we fear the most at this moment. They’re a team that defends well and counter attacks so we’ll have to be aware and patient. We’ll face them by being careful, because they want to counter with their fast players. I especially ask for the fans’ help since this will be an extremely important match for us”
Ranieri was asked about the lack of production from his strikers, Dzeko hasn’t scored at Olimpico in a year and Schick has only three goals this season:”When your main striker isn’t scoring you obviously miss his goals. When a manager builds a team, he sees the amount of goals scored in certain roles. When a striker doesn’t live up to his usual standards it weights on you. But Dzeko always gives his best and this is important. I like to play with two strikers, but Udinese wants this. I believe I’ll choose one between Dzeko and Schick”.
