Roma raises their offer for Mahrez but Leicester aren't budging: the latest

During the introductory press conference for Hector Moreno, Monchi stated that Roma had made a second offer for Riyad Mahrez and that now he was working on new targets. In fact Roma raised their bid to €35 million including bonuses, but so far Leicester aren't budging in their demand for €40 million from clubs abroad (€50 million for Premier League teams). In the meantime the Algerian striker wasn't selected for the friendly against Milton Keynes Dons. Roma consider their last bid to be fair market value and don't intend to raise it- while the giallorossi haven't set an ultimatum, Monchi is exploring his options.
