Roma: Probable starting XI for Udinese match

The mid-week match doesn't give much time for players to rest. After collecting 3 points against Milan, Roma will play again on Wednesday against Udinese, who is coming off a loss against Atalanta.

Fonseca's squad, which has been decimated by injuries, with Juan Jesus suffering a muscular injury, can get back Kluivert after the player missed a match due to disqualification. Diawara, Zappacosta, Pellegrini and Mkhitarian continue their recovery from injuries. They'll need more time before they can get back on the pitch.

According to Fonseca's comments in his pre-game presser, the giallorossi may start with the same defense that started against Milan. Fazio, Smalling and Kolarov are confirmed. However, Florenzi and Spinazzola are competing for the start, with the later being the favorite. Veretour and Mancini convinced Fonseca on Sunday and are likely to start in the midfield. Dzeko is, by now, a guarantee to start as doubt surrounds Pastore. The player started the past 3 matches and may leave his place for Diego Perotti, who's ready to play on the left wing with Zaniolo in the center and Kluivert on the right. Below is the probable formation:

Roma (4-2-3-1): Pau Lopez; Spinazzola, Fazio, Smalling, Kolarov; Veretout, Mancini; Kluivert, Zaniolo, Perotti; Dzeko.
