Roma, players and club agree to salary reduction

A third club in Serie A, after Juventus and Parma, has made an agreement to reduce wages during the coronavirus pandemic. Roma's players, coaches, and staff have proposed forgoing four months of wages (March-June). The players, in addition to a salary reduction, will make up shortfalls for social benefits for the club's employees. When and if the leage restarts, a portion of the four-month reduction could be repaid over the successive years.
