Roma, Pastore:”I see no reason to leave, I’d like to have an important season”

Things didn’t go as planned in the first season of Javier Pastore’s return to Serie A. The Argentine offensive midfielder is however determined to turn things around as he told Mundod.lavaz.com in a recent interview:”It was an odd season. I came to Roma to be indispensable to the team and play more often. That was my desire and the club’s, but for different reasons that didn’t happen. I didn’t have continuity. The important thing is that I played again and scored multiple goals”

Pastore addressed his future:”I have a contract for three or four more seasons, I see no reason to leave. Seen how last season went, I’d truly like to have a significant year. Boca or River? There was a lot of talk, but I’m not sure if there was a real intent to acquire me, no one talked to me”
