Roma, Nzonzi refusing offers to leave the club: the situation

The problem Roma is facing regarding players who no longer feature in the club's plans continues. In fact, the giallorossi GM has been in Milan the last few days to try and find solutions for these players.

Speaking of Pastore, who is in search of a convincing offer himself while Roma tries to find a solution to the two years remaining on his contract, there are other players who are causing issues for the capital city club. After Fazio, Nzonzi is refusing certain offers to leave the club. 

 The sale of the midfielder seems impossible at this moment. During the summer transfer session, Nzonzi has refused offers from Benfica and different clubs from La Liga, the English Championship and Saudi Arabia. The latest 'no' came to an offer from Qatar, which was superior economically to the 3.1 million he is receiving annually from Roma (which expires in June of 2022).

 Mourinho spoke a few days ago about "players who make other types of choices," words that certainly fit Nzonzi. There are still opportunities for a solution to be found regarding the termination of his contract, as the markets in certain areas will be open even past August 31st, however, the current climate between the two sides does not bode well.
