​Roma, new contacts with Sassuolo for Defrel expected tomorrow: The latest

Roma is intent on getting themselves Gregoire Defrel from Eusebio Di Francesco’s team. New contacts are expected to happen tomorrow, as Roma wants to accelerate the current negotiations. The objective is to use Riccardo Marchizza, defender class of 1998, as leverage: His current value is of around 3 million Euro. It still is a possibility that the deal goes through without having to add any other players in the mix. Who definitely will not be included in these negotiations is Lorenzo Pellegrini. The midfielder will stay with Sassuolo until the end of the season, when Roma will have the option to buy back the player.
