Roma, Monchi: "We have faith in Di Francesco. It's too soon to say that our transfer window was a disaster"

Roma sporting director Monchi discussed the team's tough moment in the pre-match interview, starting from his quotes after the defeat in the Champions League against Real Madrid. "I took full responsibility for the defeat because I am the first responsible. It's normal, but it's not fair to say that the transfer window was a disaster. It's not fair and it's too soon. In January everybody wanted to sell Under, then he played an amazing second part to the season".

Monchi also talked about Di Francesco's position and Karsdorp's situation, with the Dutch right-back excluded from the squad list for the game against Bologna due to disciplinary reasons: "We have a lot of faith in Di Francesco, we know how he works and what he accomplished last season. It's just a moment. Karsdorp? We have many full-backs, someone has to be left out. He suffered a lot, he needs to be patient and work hard".
