Roma, meeting with Veretout’s agent on Monday: Milan on stand by

After appointing Fonseca as Ranieri’s replacement, Roma are focused on bolstering their squad. The giallorossi have identified Jordan Veretout as the top target for the midfield, they’ll meet with his agent Giuffredi on Monday to reach an agreement.

Veretout has also been linked to Milan, but at the moment they’re on stand by. Fiorentina are asking for €25 million for the player, a sum deemed too high for a player of his age with little future resale value. Should the request stay at this level, Milan will stay out of the race.
