Roma, Mancini leaves Italy's training camp due to muscle problem

Roma's defender Gianluca Mancini has left Italy's training camp in Coverciano and returnd to the Italian capital due to general muscel fatigue, as stated by the Azzurri and Roma's medical staffs. To avoid further complicaiton to this minor problem, caused by the heavy workloads in training, the medical staff decided to let the player return to Rome.

The medical exams that the player underwent on Wednesday morning at the Fanfani clinic, however, revealed a minor oedema in his right calf, a consequence of the many consecutive game played with Roma in a short period of time. With the qualification to Euro 2020 already in the bag, the Azzurri's staff didn't want to take any risks regarding injuries, hence the decision to send the player back to the Giallorossi club.
