Roma-Manchester United, intermediary in Smalling deal to arrive in Italy on Friday: Giallorossi also interested in Dalot
Roma's search for a centre-back continue. On friday the intermediary involved in the Chris Smalling deal with Manchester United will be at Roma's headquarters in Trigoria to try and resolve the current impasse between the parties.
Friday could be a crucial day and the parties are confident that on that day a solution that could satisfy Manchester United's demands can be found and the deal could reach a positive conclusion.
Should the negotiations fail to yield a compromise, the alternative option for Roma would be Antonio Rüdiger of Chelsea on loan. In the talks with United, Roma will try to open a discussion over a potential move for Diogo Dalot. The Red Devils would prefer to sell the 21-year-old full-back on a permanent deal, however Roma - like Milan - will try to get him on loan.
