Roma make new contacts with Leicester for Mahrez: the updates

Riyad Mahrez has agreed to a move to Roma, however there is still distance between the offer to Leicester City for the winger and what the Premier League club is asking. On Saturday in conversations between Monchi and Leicester, the Roma sporting director gave indications of the club's strong desire to bring Mahrez. Roma's offer for the 26 year old is for 30 million pounds plus bonuses, while the asking price remains above that at 40 million pounds (a price that has dropped down from 50 million.) Constraining negotiations is the fact that Leicester wants to hold on to Mahrez. But countering that is the will of the player: between Mahrez and Roma an agreement on wages has already been reached. However, Roma still must continue to negotiate with Leicester in order to close the deal.
