Roma make initial contact with Napoli for Hysaj: the situation

Roma keep working on the transfer market to bolster the team for new coach Fonseca. The Giallorossi, who already completed the signing of the goalkeeper Pau Lopez and have closed deals for Mancini and Veretout, are especially focused on the defence. While talks for Alderweireld continue, Roma have already made initial contact for right-back Hysaj.

The Albanian defender has the same agent as Veretout - Giuffredi -  and, during the negotiations over the Frenchman midfielder, the parties have also discussed a possible move. The negotiation has not started yet, even though Roma have already made an initial contact with Napoli in the past few days.
