Roma looks to alternatives after Malcom deal collapsed: the latest from Thauvin to Bailey

There is a massive amount of disappointment in Rome after a deal that was supposed to see Malcom join Roma fell apart. As has been well documented, Barcelona swooped in at the last hour and hijacked the transfer, and the player has now become a member of the blaugrana.

The giallorossi, however, are not wasting any time and have come up with alternative names to fill the role. As Mario Giunta of Sky Sports has reported, the first two names are Thauvin and Bailey, but the 41 million offered for Malcom might not be enough to sign these players.

An alternative, who could be the same price as the Brazilian, is Mikel Oyarzabal of Real Sociedad, who has also been followed by Napoli in the past. In addition to these names, Serie A players Suso and Berardi can not be ignored.
