Roma, Juan Jesus:"The game at Stamford Bridge showed that we could beat Chelsea"

Roma defender Juan Jesus, interviewed by Roma Radio, talked about the win against Chelsea, his season so far and his teammates. "We weren't surprised by the win against Chelsea. We were confident, the game at Stamford Bridge showed us that we could beat them. We made a statement, showing who we are and what we're capable of. We respected Chelsea but we made clear that we are a strong team, too".

The Brazilian, alongside Alisson and Kolarov, is a pillar of the best defence in Serie A right now. He had nothing but praises for his teammates: "We have the goalkeeper of the best national team there is, that is Brazil. He worked very hard last season even when he didn't play much. Sometimes defender can mak mistakes but he's always alert and saves everything. I get along well with Kolarov, he is always helping me. He looks like a though guy but he's good-hearted. He can do damage also on the attack". He himself improved a lot this season: "They say I don't make as many mistakes as before and I still have time to improve. But it is all about team mentality, everyone gives his 1000% to help the team, starting from Dzeko and the midfielders. That makes everything easier for us defenders".

The credit for this special moment goes also to the manager Eusebio Di Francesco, said Juan Jesus: "We always try to start the play from defence and press the opponenents high up the pitch. The coach tell us what to do and we give our best to execute it".
