Roma, Fonseca:”Dzeko could start in Europe, Veretout is fantastic”

Roma got back on track with a decisive win against Udinese following the recent loss to Juventus. After the game, the giallorossi's manage Paulo Fonseca spoke to Sky Sport about his team's approach:"We got off to a very good start. I liked the approach to the game, we created a lot in the first half and went up 2-0. We then managed the second half very well. It was very important not to give up goals and close the game at the end. We need to improve with our results, it's not a matter of how we play. We need to be more decisive when we raise bar with opponents"

Fonseca gave an assessment a few individual players:"I inserted Dzeko in the moment we needed to keep the ball forward to make team rise. He's a very important player for us, he could return to starting in Europe. Villar played a great match, he was very valuable in doing well in both phases. He did a phenomenal job pressing De Paul, who is the focal point of Udinese's offense. Veretout is fantastic, he has amazing timing with the way he inserts himself. We have a challenge, he needs to get to ten goals. When he was subbed out,mI asked how many were left he said only one was missing"
