​Roma, Dzeko: “This is the best season of my career”

Has this been Edin Dzeko’s best season ever? The striker himself settled the debate in an interview with the Uefa website:

“At 30 years old, almost 31, I feel like this is the best season of my career. I definitely don’t feel my age: I’m in shape and ready, but it’s not a coincidence. I spend a lot of time before and after training to work. Scoring three goals in a match isn’t easy, so when it happens in Europa League I know I’ve done something special. So far I’ve had two in this competition, but I hope there are more to come. Totti? He is everything for Roma. Whenever he doesn’t start, the fans go crazy when they see him warm up. Totti is a legend of Rome and Roma, but he remains friendly by treating everyone nicely. He doesn’t act like a star. It’s an honour to play with him”.
