Roma continue to work for Wijnaldum: the situation

Roma and PSG continue to negotiate with each other to look for an agreemnet on a deal that could lead the Dutch international Georginio Wijnaldum to wear a Giallorossi shirt. The negotiation proceeds practically to the bitter end. 

There is already openness on a loan deal, but the French club continues to ask Roma to pay the full salary of the player. The Giallorossi, for their part, have no intention of guaranteeing this payment, so sporting director,Tiago Pinto is pushing to try to grab the experienced midfielder on his salary terms: that is to say, for about half of the contract paid by PSG.

The situation is not very stable at the moment, but Roma is pushing to get to the finish line. The player has given total opening to the deal, but the negotiation for the 31-year-old, former PSV and Liverpool player, has not yet entered its final phase.

Meanwhile, on the exit front, former Barcelona striker Carles Perez could leave. For the Spaniard there is the interest of Celta Vigo, a club that the 26-year-old would be open to. Perez insists with his willingness to leave Rome only to join Celta Vigo, without considering other hypotheses and offers. This is also one of the requests from the order of these days for the Giallorossi director Tiago Pinto.
